For Giving Tuesday we are raising money for the next load of hay to feed our rescue donkeys. Our typical hay bill is around $12,000 per month for the nearly 300 donkeys on site. Peaceful Pastures Donkey Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and supportive landing spot for abused, neglected, and malnourished donkeys. We provide medical care, nutritional support, love, and socialization in order to prepare donkeys for adoption into loving families. We also provide community events to promote awareness about equine abuse and are starting a new program offering wellness sessions and team-building workshops for corporations. We are excited to educate others on donkeys and the benefit of emotional healing from interacting with them.
