Peaceful Pastures Becomes a Part of Full Circle of Life Shelter

Recently, Beth Hakala, Executive Director and Kendra Bench, Co-Chairman of the Board traveled to Tennessee to attend a workshop given by Horse Plus Humane Society. Our organization was one of 20 chosen to participate after we applied for the Full Circle of Life Grant.

The workshop covered several very useful topics including: what a Full Circle of Life Shelter is, refeeding and nutrition in the malnourished, working with law enforcement, media, fundraising and much more. We are proud to report that we are now part of the Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter network. Check out the video for more information on this program. We are also utilizing their tips and information to make shelter administration more efficient and effective.
