At Peaceful Pastures Donkey Rescue, we take in abused, neglected, malnourished and unwanted donkeys (and a few horses) and work to provide nutritional, medical, and emotional rehabilitation.
Our goal is to find loving and carefully vetted homes for those who are adoptable. For those who are not adoptable due to health risks from prior neglect, they are provided sanctuary and live out their lives here.
You Can Get Involved in Three Ways:
Peaceful Pastures Donkey Rescue loves volunteers! As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are able to provide community service opportunities for anyone. We welcome help with grounds, the animals, building projects, events, and committees. If you have a skill, we have an opportunity.
We are working to create hard to free donkeys from their suffering, but we cannot do it without your help.

We are always recruiting volunteers to help with donkey caretaking and events.

With more funding, we are able to purchase more resources, hire more staff, and overall, save more donkeys from kill pens.
